Luckily it was still covered under warranty so I contacted tech support and they promptly replaced it. My second G502 Hero started acting up after about a year, it wouldn't hold a click properly which is apparently a common problem with this model. It's not really an issue if you set both settings to the same dpi, it's just super annoying. I'm sure it's very useful for people who need to frequently switch between two different dpi settings for some reason, but it's positioned right under where your thumb should rest and I find myself constantly clicking it by mistake. My only real complaint with this mouse is the button that changes dpi. The latter setting is great for scrolling to the bottom of a page or browsing a large inventory menu. I've seen people complain about the scroll wheel but I have no idea why because in my opinion it's the best feature! You can go from super precise to crazy fast scrolling with the click of a button. After all that the keyboard finally showed as connected in Ghub. It's very responsive and the dpi can easily be changed with the configuration app. I allowed access to screen recording and accessibility by the Logitech Ghub app (in my Mac’s Security settings). This is an old thread, but I wanted to put in my two cents: it's a great mouse, I'm now on my third one and will probably get another when this one wears out.
